August - September - October: As summer draws to a close and harvest season begins we celebrate our rural heritage Eastern Shore. Learn about events happening here on Delmarva during the next few months. Watch all the next clips in this play list to meet some fascinating artists who work here on the Eastern Shore including Erick Sahler, Susan Holt, and Matthew Amey. We’ll also tell you a bit about the Calvin B. Taylor Museum a stately early nineteenth century home showcasing Berlin’s people, stories, and memorabilia of days gone by. And we’ll find out about Paddling Assateague: a spectacular way to see the sites along the bay and ocean including wild horses, and numerous shore birds.

Erick Sahler is a silkscreen artist whose prints are clean stylish icons of uniquely Eastern Shore places, events, and culture.

Susan Holt creates thought provoking art installations which lead the audience to unexpected places.

Matthew Amey’s work represents exciting ancient motifs and the latest modern technology.

While there find out about local art strolls and craft markets on the Shore. Every month enjoy a great night out while supporting local artisans and businesses! Galleries and shops stay open late. Opening receptions feature special gallery exhibits and a chance to meet local artists. Often there is free entertainment. Try out First Fridays at the Art League of Ocean City and in Snow Hill; Second Fridays in Downtown Berlin; and Third Fridays in Salisbury.
