Top 5 New Bars and Restaurants in Worcester County, Maryland

Worcester County, Maryland, has no shortage of great restaurants, and new ones are popping up all the time. From new breweries and saloons to seafood to Italian, hungry or thirsty visitors will always find what they're craving. Here are the five new bars and restaurants you need to know about in Worcester County.

1. Ocean City Brewing Company
When Ocean City Brewery opened in 2014, it became OC's largest craft brewery. The brewery showcases a variety of beers, such as the Ocaso sunset ale, Stare Back porter and Kraken IPA, as well as some more unique flavors, like the Spoiled Brat pineapple ginger pale ale and the Funky Monk toasted almond coconut ale. Don't miss the daily happy hours on food and beverage.

2. Assawoman Bay Brewing Company
Assawoman Bay Brewing opened in July 2014 and has already developed a strong fanbase. The flagship Bayside Blonde pale ale has hints of cucumber and mint, and the Commodore Decatur's Black Ale gets high marks, as does the award-winning TransPorter stout. Grab a pint of beer and enjoy breathtaking views in our Brew Pub and Restaurant.

3. Full Moon Saloon
Full Moon Saloon opened in early 2015 in the former Station 7 on 707 Space in West Ocean City. The family-friendly locale has standard sports bar menu items like hot wings and burgers as well as copious seafood offerings. Enjoy platters with crab cakes, clam strips, fried oysters, shrimp and fresh tuna alongside landlubber favorites like ribs and fried chicken.

4. Leaky Pete's
Leaky Pete's Oyster and Wine Bar is a popular restaurant in Cambridge, Maryland, and it's expanding into Berlin for its second location in 2015. Beyond the eponymous oysters and wine on the menu, hungry visitors in Worcester County can enjoy buckets of mussels, grouper tacos, blackened shrimp po'boys and gourmet hot dogs. Don't miss the daily specials.

5. Sello's Italian Oven & Bar
Sello's is a new brick oven pizza joint coming soon in West Ocean City from the trusted owners of the former Fresco's. Owner Giovanni Tomasello says not to expect typical pizza toppings like mushrooms and pepperoni; instead, he plans to take advantage of the coastal location with more fresh seafood offerings. Visitors will still find specialty Italian meats and cheeses, as well as classic dishes, on the menu. Be on the lookout when it opens on Golf Course Road in April 2015!
